If you already have a Savage-- and we all know what a great bike it is-- a discontinuation of the model will only mean that it will go *up* in value. It's not like the aftermarket parts market with dry up, either-- hell, there aren't even *that* many afermarket parts for the LS650 available now. And surely OEM stuff will still be available from Suzi-- heck, I passed on a new air cleaner at a dealership just the other day, because the ticket was $42 US (come on, now... that's just silly!).
I agree that it's a stupid move on Suzi's part to discontinue the model-- but if you already have one, then you already know-- and if it goes out of production, you'll be one of the "lucky" ones who has one.
Just my humble opinion, and worth exactly what it cost you...
